The Art of Seduction by Robert Geene and Joost Elffers

Amoral, ruthless, clever and cunning, this is the essential guide to the art of seduction. Seduction is the most effective, elusive and subtle way of taking someone into your power. Whether power, money or lust is the motive, this book is the ultimate self-help manual. Written with the same wit and style as the 48 LAWS OF POWER, THE ART OF SEDUCTION is also sensuously designed, exquisitely printed in two colours, and filled with historical examples from Cleopatra to Casanova

The Art of Worldly Wisdom: A Shambhala Pocket Classic by Althasar Cracian et al

Reviewer: jt49@post.one from usa The Art of Worldly Wisdom is one of my favorite books. It was written in the 1600s and contains 300 maxims in paragraph form. All you have to do is to open the book to the back where you will find a listing of the maxims. For instance, #192 is "A peaceful life is a long life." and #148 is "Have the art of conversation." Then turn to the appropriate page for your lesson in full. It's a tiny book that will amaze you with the amount of brilliance it contains. It's a book that will fit in your pocket and help you through life. I hope you'll love it as much I do.

The ethical Slut: a Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities by Dossie Easton et al

In this groundbreaking volume, therapist Dossie Easton and sex educator/author Catherine A. Liszt provide a road map for exploring the sometimes difficult, often rewarding territory of non-traditional relationships. Warm, informative details about how to get your needs met, manage your jealousy, make agreements that work for all concerned, talk to your friends and relatives, and build a life full of all the sex and love you want

Flirtation, Seduction, Betrayal: Interviews with Heroes and Villains by Nigel Farndale

Helen Osborne, The Spectator "This collection has a real sparkle: intelligent, irreverent and often unexpectedly kindly. It makes you laugh and, occasionally, gasp."

The Lifestyle: A Look at the Erotic Rites of Swingers by Terry Gould

Reviewer: (leemr@hotmail.com) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Terry Gould has finally done the homework, done the research and compiled an honest, non-judgemental look at this natural, open and rapidly evolving way of life. He dispells the myths and misconceptions that this subject always seems to have engendered in the minds of the uninitiated. Because of his work, more and more curious, open-minded people will take a better look at this lifestyle and many more who have been practicing it quietly will come forward and say, "It is OK to be the way we are, to love the way love, enjoy friendships the way we do and approach our lives with the sense of adventure that keeps us youthful, vital and happy." This type of journalism will surely help lift the stigma that has unfairly stained this arena for a very long time. It is a study that is liberating in many areas and is a "must read" for anyone who is in the Lifestyle and for anyone who is curious about the Lifestyle. Hopefully more authors will take up the gauntlet and shed even more light into the shadows.

Six Easy Pieces: The Fundamentals of Physics Explained (Penguin Press Science) by Richard P. Feynman

Reviewer: John-Paul Rooney (johnpaul@ieee.org) from Leeds, England Richard Feynman has never failed to provide me with the inspiration and motivation to learn more about the world around me. His illustrations are easy to understand, and are enjoyable to pass on to others. He makes physics seem necessary, challenging and very interesting. I have never studied physics before, and found the content within reach. References to "missing" chapters have encouraged me to buy the full lecture set.

Six Not-so-easy Pieces: Einstein's Relativity, Symmetry and Space-time by Richard P. Feynman

Reviewer: A reader from UK Consisting of six chapters drawn from his legendary "Lectures on Physics", this is probably one of the best and most exhilarating introductions availiable on the theory of relativity for both laymen and students alike. By reading this book one can really appreciate Feynman's inimitable lucid and humourous writing style, while at the same time gain an accurate and comprehensive understanding of the basic fundamentals of both special and general relativity. The book also discusses the important concept of symmetry in physical laws. It has wonderful analogies that explain difficult ideas, and some mathematical equations for those who want to go one step further from just knowing the theory qualitatively (Though people who are not so sure of mathematics can also skip these without missing any descriptive content). This is a truly great book, something that everyone with an interest in modern physics should possess and enjoy.

Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman: Adventures of a Curious Character by Richard P. Feynman

Amazon.co.uk Review A series of anecdotes, such as are included in Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman, shouldn't by rights add up to an autobiography, but that's just one of the many pieces of received wisdom that Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard Feynman (1918-88) cheerfully ignores in this engagingly eccentric book. Fiercely independent (read the chapter entitled "Judging Books by Their Covers"), intolerant of stupidity even when it comes packaged as high intellectualism (check out "Is Electricity Fire?"), unafraid to offend (see "You Just Ask Them?"), Feynman informs by entertaining. It's possible to enjoy Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman, a bestseller ever since its initial publication in 1985, simply as a bunch of hilarious yarns with the author as know-it-all hero.
